Future sale means that the insurance company is pending on the title for the vehicle so it is not ready to be auctioned. All items sell through live auctions. You can follow live auction over the phone. |

Hello. I am interested in a particular motorcycle. I notice that it is a salvage title but there appears to be very minimal damage to the bike. I would like to know why it is a salvage title when it appears to be very little damage? |

A salvage title is an automobile title with a notation that the vehicle has been damaged in excess of approximately 75% of its previous market value. This notation gets applied to a title when an insurance company pays a total-loss claim on a vehicle, but then allows the owner to retain or buy back the vehicle at its post-damage market value, which is often negligibly low. Often a vehicle is still safely driveable even if technically considered a total loss by an insurance company, particularly with older vehicles where even minor cosmetic damage would cost more to fix than the vehicle's whole market value. |

Hi Gary! We require the deposit that is $1000 or 15% of the amount that you are planning to offer for a vehicle whichever is greater. The deposit is 100% refundable if you do not win the auction. If you win it goes towards your purchase. You can pay using your credit card, you just need to send the request to info@carfrom.us or call our office to get the credit card authorization form. As long as I have your email I am going to send you the form right now. |

Clint, Unfortunately you can not get detailed information over the phone. if the vehicle is listed by salvage auction you can come to inspect the vehicle (you just need to sign up to get your buyer number, make the deposit and pay $25 at the yard). If the vehicle is listed by insurance company it can not be previewed. |
